As a child I loved the work of Vincent van Gogh. My mother had a book with his pictures and when I was alone I used to look at it. At school during art lessons I tried to copy his style. I always dreamt of illustrating children’s books. After working in the field of filmmaking I have now found my true calling. I am passionate about my ideas and I have published four books in South Africa. I would love to work for a German (my native country) publishing house.
I use all kinds of different media such as pencils, watercolours, pastels, crayons and acrylic paint. Thus I master a variety of different styles and moods. My handwriting is highly emotional and original. It is directed at children of all ages and readers both young and old.
